The “Microhoo” Challenger to Google in Online Search and Internet Advertising

Microsoft’s Bing is now powering organic search results on Yahoo! Search for the English language in the United States and Canada. It also means that it’s time to review and refresh your Search Engine Optimization and Pay-per-Click (PPC) healthcare marketing plan for the highest and best advantage of a huge online audience.
Google is big, but when these other big guys complete the transition, they project that “Bing will power 5.2 billion monthly searches, which is 31.6 percent of the search market share in the United States and 8.6 percent share in Canada.”
This is the latest from the 10-year search and advertising deal between Microsoft and Yahoo!, and they’ll be making other runs at Google’s market share. And for healthcare marketing and adverting pros, it’s an excellent opportunity to tune-up your search and PPC strategy.
