The Senior Vice President/Vice President of Digital Marketing is a key management position within Healthcare Success that is responsible for proactively developing digital strategy and guiding a multidisciplinary team on data-driven marketing, search and social to drive results for our clients. This senior leader and seasoned digital practitioner provides a clear point of view on how our clients can best leverage current and emerging digital tools. He/she defines and guides best practices in digital communications to keep HS competitive and drive business results and growth. This individual also partners with the CEO and Management Committee to shape and communicate the vision and mission of the company.RESPONSIBILITIESDigital StrategyDevelop insight-driven multichannel opportunities for HS clientsProvide support to account team and clients with digital insights, recommend campaign spends and ongoing optimization strategies to maintain robust digital campaign health and performanceTranslate digital strategies into ideas and solutions; partner with teams to ensure strategies and programs are effectively implementedCreate standardized formats for internal and client reporting which provide key performance metrics, analyses and optimization recommendations for client campaignsActively participate in and develop digital content for new business development opportunitiesServe as a passionate internal expert on digital and social media trends; develop ongoing points of view on emerging media and technology and consistently socialize across teamInvestigate and bring forward new market offeringsLead digital strategy on assigned client accounts, while supporting direct reports on their dedicated client accountsManage all digital media buys for HS clientsManage reputation and local listings providersExpand business opportunities with existing clients and build relationships with new clientsEffectively manage Google partnership and platform relationshipsContribute to ongoing thought leadership efforts of Healthcare SuccessManagementDirectly oversee the digital department (Search, Organic & Paid Social)Promote consistency and set a positive tone for the team and lead by exampleContinue to grow the department and recruit best-in-class digital talent to expand capabilitiesFacilitate and evaluate potential vendor partnerships and other resource tools to support client and team needsPartner with departments to understand ongoing work streams and ensure appropriate digital resources to support on-time client deliverablesDevelop and grow department and team members to ensure digital staff remain motivated and highly skilledInspire a “Service Excellence” mindset and a spirit of ultimate customer serviceActively participate on the HS Management Committee, contributing to corporate goals, inter-department collaboration and a positive work cultureFinancial ResultsPartner with the Management Committee to manage and achieve key performance metrics including on-time delivery, client retention, expenses, revenue and profit marginQUALIFICATIONS8+ years experience in a senior leadership position in an agency or other client-facing business, with in-depth knowledge of digital space, media channels, technology and how trends affect marketingIn-depth understanding of how digital media is produced and deployed in marketAbility to analyze business objectives and competitive landscape and develop multichannel strategies for clientsProven leadership and management skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsTrack record of working with teams to produce compelling, objective-driven campaignsExperience in creative problem solving and rational experimentationProficient in current and emerging platformsExemplifies professionalism and a respect for protocolFlexibility and adaptability in a changing agency/client environmentExperience partnering with Creative, Account, Project Management and User Experience teamsHighly collaborative, influential and creativeContinually raising the bar, forward thinking, innovativeStays ahead of the curve on area of specialty/core competencyLeads by example – sets the pace for the department/agency in terms of work ethic and intensityHealthcare Success does not accept agency résumés, unless the agency has been authorized by a Healthcare Success HR Representative.
