
With 16+ years’ experience, Brandon Schakola has broad and deep expertise across B2B, B2C, and C2C areas of SEO Marketing, having worked with some of the largest brands. His expertise in Semantic SEO and Technical SEO have guided brands through site migrations and redesigns, standing up new brands/verticals with go to market strategies, and building growth strategies. He has a strong relationship with many tool providers and vendors, often joining and advising product roadmaps to ensure clients receive the best data for their decision making. He is leading internal AI adoption initiatives and guiding AI SEO visibility experimentation.
He studied Cognitive Science at the University of Delaware, and entered the start-up world of Section 508 compliance, training and working with the Air Force and Royal Canadian mounted police. This experience led him to understand the basics of technical SEO and how search engines crawl and index pages. Brandon started in the world of SEO at The Search Agency, working with brands like Guthy Renker, Medscape, Electrolux/Frigidaire, Remax, Robert Half, and Fox, while leading the technical delivery team, leading strategy, and developing strong cross-channel communication. At Ebay, he ran multiple GTM strategies for Focus Verticals for enthusiast articles, running large content tests and working closely with Merchandising teams. With Overstock, he was part of the pivotal re-brand to Bed Bath & Beyond (CA/US).
