Business Development Director — Digital Healthcare Marketing & Advertising

Healthcare Success, a healthcare marketing agency based in Irvine, CA, is searching for a Senior Business Development Representative to lead our sales efforts and grow our portfolio of healthcare clients, including hospitals, pharmaceuticals, medical device and health plans.

We are seeking a dynamic, self-starting candidate who will generate leads, nurture relationships and lead our “team selling process” through closed business. This role will make a huge impact on Healthcare Success as we continue to grow our list of enterprise-level clients.

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Experience generating new business from hospitals, medical device, health plans and/or pharmaceuticals. You must have a proven track record selling marketing services, e.g., digital marketing, branding, advertising, etc.
  • Familiar with databases and a CRM (customer relationship management) tool, such as Salesforce or Hubspot
  • Able to speak the languages of healthcare, branding, advertising and digital marketing
  • Experience prospecting through channels like LinkedIn, email, phone, and tradeshows (some travel will be required)
  • While our marketing team will generate many leads, you should be comfortable generating leads from a variety of sources, including upsells, past relationships, and strategic prospecting
  • Able to prioritize tasks, from which prospects to contact at what time to identifying the proper channel to connect
  • Experience with and knowledge of account-based marketing
  • 5-7 years of experience within a digital or advertising agency setting
  • Minimum of a 4-year degree, graduate degree preferred
